Wilmer Skoog and Nick Strom scored power-play goals in the first period, Didrik Henbrant and Taylor Lantz tallied in the second and Vince Marino's power-play goal in the third put the game away for Minot.

Ben Ward, Peter Grytdahl and Ondrej Trejbal netted goals for the Wilderness in a penalty-filled game.

Minot's Ben Garrity made 21 saves, while Minnesota's Kaleb Johnson stopped 23 shots.
