Tuesday: The recent stretch of above average temperatures and melting snowpack will continue today and through much of this week. We can expect a mix of sun and clouds today with an afternoon high topping out near 40 degrees.

Tuesday night: A very weak and unorganized system will pass just to our north and east over Lake Superior. This system will bring mostly cloudy skies along with a slim chance of a few flurries overnight. Little to no accumulation is expected with an overnight low near 29 degrees.

Wednesday: We will hang on to a slim chance of a flurry or two Wednesday morning, but overall we will be looking at a decent day under mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures should top out near 42 degrees by the afternoon.

An extended period of sunny and warmer weather is in store for the end of the week and into the weekend as it looks like the first few days of spring will actually feel like it across the Northland. High temperatures on Saturday may reach the low 50s.
